Education and Experience
Dr. Stuart Meyer graduated Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts and received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry, New York City, New York. He completed both a general practice and an anesthesia residency at Montifiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Montifiore/Albert Einstein Medical Center as well.
He is a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons. He is also a member of the New Jersey Dental Association and the Monmouth/Ocean County Dental Society. Dr. Meyer is the Section Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was honored as the “Attending Oral Surgeon of the Year” in 1995 and 2015 at Jersey Shore Medical Center for his contributions to the education of dental residents. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Meyer’s specialties include the placement of dental implants, related soft tissue and bone grafting, dental facial surgery as well as wisdom tooth removal under iv sedation.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Meyer enjoys his free time spending time with his wife and two daughters as well as going to the beach, playing golf and pickle ball.
